All About the Store
Our Mission
Homeless Treasures is a non-profit thrift store located in Hingham, MA. We have been paying it forward since November 2022, and have made it our mission to give back to the community in more ways than one.
Although we accept gently used items, clothing, etc. for the thrift store, we also accept used items and clothing that may be more worn, yet greatly appreciated by those who are in severe need of them. Homeless Treasures provides clothing donations to the homeless and to anyone in need of these essentials apart from the store. The founder of Homeless Treasures, Mauricia, is not only running the thrift store, but also works full-time for Boston Rescue Mission, and volunteers for an outreach program in Boston as well. Homeless Treasures is just another way for her to pay it forward even more than she already does.
Our Inventory
Our hand-selected inventory consists of only clean, gently used clothing, accessories, un-opened beauty products, furniture and more. Homeless Treasures has been paying it forward since November 2023. Our showroom inventory changes regularly, guaranteeing customers a variety of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Whether you’re thinking about items for your wardrobe, home, or jewelry collection, we’ve got something for you. Homeless Treasures firmly believes in helping out those who need it the most. By donating items you don’t need or want anymore, we can stay true to our philosophy of giving back to society.
We appreciate all donations.
If you have clothing, furniture, home accessories, art, rugs, or anything else you’d like to donate to us, we happily accept all donations via appointment. In order to make an appointment you may call the store ahead of time or e-mail us at homelesstreasureshingham@gmail.com. We will then provide you with a tax slip for your donation. Pass on your good fortune to others and donate to Homeless Treasures today!
** All clothing donations must be washed prior to being donated. Homeless Treasures only accepts clean, gently used clothing**
